I’d like to discuss some things that we moor or anchor ourselves to positively and negatively, I wanted to share a little bit of what has been so powerful for me along this journey.

I was not an avid reader as a young child, I preferred being outdoors and you could say I was a tomboy. I’ve always had a vivid imagination and when I finally fell in love with books, I discovered a new world and even better, a new perspective.
Fast forward into widowhood and late at night, vacations, sitting in airports and stolen moments, I’d find my head turned down absorbing words on a million pages soaking up knowledge that was food for my soul. I was hungry and thirsty.
Then there came a phase where I didn’t read anything at all, instead I worked hard to implement and experience what I had read (which is much harder it turns out). I would say this was a moment of untying my mooring, lifting up the anchor and allowing me to set sail into the next …
