Faith and Healing: Supporting the Spiritual Journey of Widows
81% of MWC Widows Seek Strength Through Faith and Spirituality
We have a new initiative to share with our devoted and caring Widow Life subscribers.
* Wister® Prayer Team & Wister® Prayer Requests *
This meaningful new offering by Modern Widows Club® | The Movement for Widow Care (MWC) will be led by compassionate volunteers to receive and respond to the many prayer requests from the thousands of #widows within our nonprofit organization. The term *Wister®* combines "Widow" and "Sister," symbolizing the special bond we share in our sisterhood. If this is new to you, welcome to our circle of support!
Our Modern Widows Club research revealed that 81% of you who completed the Widow Empowerment Quiz identified as either religious or spiritual. This insight has guided us in finding new ways to support your spiritual health and well-being.
Sometimes, all you need is the comfort of knowing someone truly cares and is willing to share their whole heart and a listening ear. If you feel inspired to join us, we warmly welcome you—all faiths embraced.
Together, we can cultivate a sacred space where no #widow feels isolated, unprotected, or unloved—a community united in faith and compassion.
“Our first meet & greet was last weekend and I’m in awe of the diversity and compassion within our community in the area of spiritual health!” - MWC Founder Carolyn Moor
