For those who know me well, you are aware that I have an extensive vault of research on legendary widow women. This was one of the reasons behind creating the book "Legendary Widows: Stories of Legacy" last year, the first in a planned series of seven.

Recently, I discovered Winnifred Harper Cooley, the author of "The New Womanhood" book published in 1904. She was born on October 2, 1874, and passed away on October 20, 1967.

Her husband, Rev. George Eliot Cooley, a Unitarian minister, married her in 1899 when she was 25 years old. After twenty-six years of supportive marriage, she became a widow in 1926 at the age of 52. She remained widowed and continued her prolific writing endeavors for the next 41 years.

In the dedication of this book, she mentioned the support of her husband.
